In 1944 in First Baptist Church, St. Paul, Mn., Cliff was the youth minister, song leader and choir director. My cousin and I both sang in his choir. He must have been still in college. He was oh so handsome. All the girls in the choir (including my cousin and I) had a crush on him. I have followed him through the years with Billy Graham.
