In the mid ’80s at a Billy Graham School of Evangelism, Cliff Barrows preached a sermon on the Prayer of Jabez, a day and a sermon that I have never forgotten. A few years ago at the 25th anniversary of Focus on the Family, I had a chance to talk personally with Cliff about the impact of that sermon on my life and ministry. He indeed was a gracious and godly man.
