I was a seven-year-old girl when I went to a Billy Graham Crusade in Portland, Oregon, in 1950. Cliff Barrows was the young, enthusiastic song leader. My mother, older sister and I all went forward as thousands of people sang “Just As I Am.” It was a turning point in my young life. I am so thankful for the gift of music to sing praise to Jesus, the lifter of my soul, the anchor of my life. Thank you, Cliff Barrows, for being a man of music, integrity and honor for your lifetime. Praise be to God!
