Cliff Barrows was a man blessed of God with a humble spirit and a tremendous God-given ability to lead very large choirs and congregations in singing praise to God. My wife (with the Lord since 1992) and I were privileged to attend two Crusades – St. Louis in 1953, where both of us professed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and New Orleans in 1954, where I was a sacred music student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Barrows leading of “To God Be the Glory” and “Blessed Assurance” are indelibly etched in my mind and heart. He will be missed on earth, but is a blessed addition to the company of saints in Heaven.
