Dear BGEA family and Barrows family:
I was sad to hear of Cliff’s passing. What a godly musician, producer and teacher he was! I was so blessed to meet and interview him in 1996 in Toronto. My mother sang in the original “Youth For Christ” choir in Toronto before the BGEA was formed. Like my mother, I am a singer and professional choral director. I remember many Canadian BGEA Crusades and singing with Cliff in the choir. I have always remembered what Cliff said to me in our conversation about the BGEA early years: “I was just a trombone player that could read and write music. I didn’t know how I would be used in the ministry, but I just trusted God with my talents, he opened the door, step by step. Once I knew that Billy Graham wanted me to be a apart of his team, my life and talents were to serve him and the Lord with my talents, however God could use me.” That statement to me, is the purist example of a humble and dedicated servant and worshipper unto the Lord!
