It is with a sad heart we read of the passing of our brother Cliff Barrows. It was at a Dr. Billy Graham Crusade in Scotland where I was the MD for Graham Kendrick. We informed Brother Cliff that my wife and I were engaged. Velveta and I were busy staring into each other’s eyes; we totally missed when Brother Barrows announced our engagement from the podium. So, you can imagine the shock when so many started applauding and congratulating us, Vel and I having no idea how so many people knew of our engagement. I have marveled at the many years he served Dr. Graham—a wonderful role model on servanthood. I am now in my 30th year of serving Graham Kendrick as his musical director. My brother Cliff is now in his eternal home reunited with other brothers and sisters whom have gone on before him. Rest in peace my brother.
