My husband, Randy, and I met Mr. Barrows at the Billy Graham School of Evangelism held in Asheville, NC, in May of 1988—just nine months after being married. He was so gracious to us. We shared with him that Randy was a seminary student at the time and that we were seeking God’s direction for our ministry. Mr. Barrows pulled us aside and prayed over us. It was truly a life-changing experience. We will forever remember Mr. Barrows’ prayer over us and his kind words of encouragement. We will be praying for all of those who will miss him on this earth and we look forward to singing with him in glory.
