I was born in Freeport, IL, and your grandpa, Pastor Herman Newell, was my pastor when I was born. My folks dedicated me to the Lord under his ministry. As an elementary kid, your dad would come home and lead singing with the trombone. That was my inspiration. I am 76 and all my life I have led singing with the trombone. I just fnished 40 years of traveling with the Ron Comfort Evan Team as the “Cliff Barrows.” My sister, June Brubaker McFalls, went to high school with your mother. A few months before your mom when to glory, we went down and had the joy of visiting with them. I had my picture taken with your dad and that is in my office. A few years ago, we saw your dad and Ann at the Billy Graham Library. What a joy to talk to him and meet Ann. God bless you during these days. We are praying for you.
