I first came across Cliff Barrows at the London Crusade at Earl’s Court in 1966 and have watched him on YouTube countless times since. His mixture of genuine Christian faith, enthusiasm and joy made so much difference to those Crusades, and whenever I have conducted community hymn singing, I tried to model myself on him. He will be deeply missed, especially by his family and members of the BGEA, but there is comfort in the certainty that he is now with Christ, which is far better.
