Cliff Barrows family, you know how special you are to me; thus, my prayers are with you constantly, especially during this time of Cliff’s homegoing. May the Lord’s special peace and strength be yours.
From the time of my getting saved at the Graham Crusade in 1959, I started writing letters to Cliff, and he in later years reminded me that he used to read those letters to your whole family for devotionals! What an honor!
Bonnie, I thank you for inviting me to your hotel room during Lausanne Congress so that I could wash and set my hair there, for I was staying at a large room of workers, whose shower hours were limited. I recall your and my praying about God’s choice for your life’s partner. Great is our Lord to answer that request.
It was so fun to call him “Uncle Cliff” for decades! In the ’80s, I sent him one of my old plastic eyes. He shared sometimes that he once took it out of his pocket in a hurry, when trying to pull out a breath mint! We’ve laughed much about that.
