One of my favorite memories of Cliff Barrows was his annual Cliff Barrows Sing at Wheaton College. I have a picture of him with my mother (now in Heaven). I can’t sing “Blessed Assurance” without thinking of his arrangement of that beloved hymn. His live comments always seemed so personal, like he was talking to a friend.
