What a gift it was to live during the same period of time as Cliff Barrrows and the Billy Graham team. I remember growing up sitting in front of our black and white TV listening to the sermon and music. In a time when public figures are picked apart for inappropriate behaviors, the Lord protected these men as He did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego with His arms of love, for they stayed close to Him and followed His direction. I remember kneeling on my knees and rededicating my life to Christ as they sang “Just As I Am.” I ordered the information they passed out and did the study at home, receiving my certificate. We can only pray that this generation has more true men of God to leave a legacy for our descendants to come.
